Highlight Delft

Highlight Delft

This February, I’m thrilled to be part of Highlight Delft, a festival celebrating the intersection of light, art, and technology. From February 11 to 14, I’ll be exhibiting a series of interactive installations featuring robots that print art with sand—a fusion of precision engineering and creative expression.

What to Expect

  1. Robot Printing Demos for Children

    • When: Wednesday (Feb 11) & Saturday (Feb 14), 13:00–16:00
    • Where: Vesteplein
    • What: Kids can watch (and even participate in!) live demonstrations of robots drawing intricate patterns in public spaces.
  2. Festival Route Walks with a Drawing Robot

    • Daily: You can come accross robots roaming around the city and highlighting the festival route for you!
  3. Main Exhibition: Tech-Inspired Drawings

    • When: Daily, 17:30–23:00
    • Where: Next to the Social Hub
    • What: A collection of robot-generated drawings, exploring themes of technology, typography, and abstract forms.

Why It Matters

Highlight Delft isn’t just about showcasing art—it’s about democratizing creativity. By merging robotics with accessible materials like sand, we’re inviting audiences of all ages to reimagine how technology can inspire wonder.

Join me at Vesteplein or along the festival route! Let’s explore how robots can become artists—and how art can make technology feel human.
